Leading up to our fourth issue going live late-May, we’ll be sharing some sneak peeks into our featured people articles, so you can get a little flavour and feel of who they are, and get a glimpse at what will be coming up in our next issue!
Your name and company:
Hometown: Vancouver, BC, Canada
What do you do, quickly, what’s your “elevator pitch”?
At Stylegarage we design, manufacture and sell our own furniture in house. Roughly half of the pieces are made to order, bench made here in Canada. The remaining pieces are made by a brand, called Gus Modern, that was born from our store. Our style tends towards mid-century modern. Some influences of Scandinavian design as well as a sense of Canadiana can be found in our furniture.
What you’re up to at the moment, and where can people see you and your work, in person or online?
In July 2011 we opened our store in Gastown. Our second location is in Toronto, ON. They have been in business since 2000. People are welcome to come and visit our showrooms here in Vancouver or in Toronto. Or they can find us on-line at stylegarage.com As well, Stylegarage participates in the Interior Design Show every year in both cities.
